Required Hardware
SailData requires a source of NMEA 0183 data transmitted over UDP. This typically requires a device providing an interface between a NMEA network and an ethernet or wifi network. Yacht Devices and Actisense are two widely used providers of such hardware.
Use with a wired connection requires a USB ethernet adapter for your device. A USB adapter providing combined ethernet and power delivery is a great solution for a fixed display.
